We are very happy to announce that we are beginning the next phase of re-opening our in-person fellowship! We are still working out long-term details, but in any event, beginning Sunday, May 30th, 2021, we will be resuming meeting in person on Sundays at 11 AM.
Our first service will be outdoors at Joyce Barnett’s home in Bradford, Vermont, from 11 AM to 12 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair and are welcome to bring lunch if they would like to stay and visit with others following the service. More information on this will be forthcoming shortly.
If we can raise the money necessary to reinstate our building insurance, we could be meeting back at St. Luke’s Parish Hall as early as the following Sunday, barring any other unforeseen circumstances. Otherwise, the backup plan is to continue to gather at Joyce’s home until we have provided St. Luke’s with a certificate of insurance. We will be sharing details about the amount needed as soon as we receive a quote from our insurance agency.
We will be following current state and federal guidance regarding in-person gatherings. Currently, masks and social distancing are still necessary for indoor gatherings, and proper precautions will be taken for fellowship at Joyce’s home.
Many people have asked if services will still be broadcast over Facebook Live. The short answer to that is yes. We will not have the ability to livestream in-person services initially, but the services will be recorded, uploaded, and broadcast as a Facebook Live event later in the day. Additionally, we plan to continue with our online Bible studies and other means of connecting via social media, as we have gained a diverse online community over the past year, and we want to ensure that we continue to minister to this group as an extension of our Acres of Hope Christian Fellowship church body.
Thank you for being a part of our fellowship in one form or another. We love you all, we are here for you, and we are excited to see what God has in store!
Love in Christ,
Pastors Joe & Shelly Grabowski
