Good Things are Coming!
Spring is here, and we are excited to announce two new opportunities to get connected with each other and, more importantly, with the Lord!
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the formation of Acres of Hope Christian Fellowship. It is literally and symbolically a new season, and we look forward with confident expectation toward the unfolding of God’s plan for the days to come. It has been an exciting journey so far, despite any obstacle or detours we may have encountered along the way.
We recently concluded our first online Bible study, and while it didn’t replace the intimate fellowship of gathering in person, it was a decidedly edifying and enriching time in the Word together from the comfort of our respective homes. Upon conclusion of the study, the Elder board prayerfully agreed that it would be good to plan another six-week study to follow soon after Easter Sunday.
In addition, Pastor Joe Grabowski and Elder Kevin Lamarre will be launching a weekly morning men’s prayer meeting, specifically to pray for their wives. Any man, married or not, is welcome to join us on Google Meet every Tuesday morning at 7 AM.
There is much more to come in the months ahead, so bookmark our web site and follow us on Facebook, and stay tuned! -JG
New Bible Study – “Lo, I Am With You Always”
After His resurrection, and shortly before His ascension to the Father, Jesus gave an assurance to His disciples, and ultimately to us. Though He was soon to be gone from their sight, He promised that He would always be with them, “even to the end of the age.”
In this six-week study, we will reflect on these life-giving words, as well as other promises of Jesus to be close to us all the days of our lives. It is our hope that by the end of this study, we will all feel a deeper sense of peace and confidence in our relationship with Him.
Men’s Prayer Group
If you are a husband (or plan to be one someday), please join us for this weekly virtual prayer gathering to pray for our wives. We will be loosely basing our prayer focus on “The Power of a Praying Husband” by Stormie Omartian.
