Loving God,
Loving Others

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen.

Matthew 28:6 (NLT)

From our family to yours, Pastor Shelly and I, along with the Elders of Acres of Hope Christian Fellowship wish you a very happy Resurrection Sunday!

We have all collectively been through a very trying and unprecedented season, and while we are not out of the proverbial woods yet, there is hope and light ahead of us. Even the darkest of nights inevitably gives way to daybreak, and Winter always surrenders to the new life of Spring.

This is but one of the many beautiful promises of Jesus’ resurrection. Morning has broken and a new day has begun. What would appear to be the end of the story was just the beginning of the greatest story, in which you and I have gifted eternal life with God through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross all those years ago.

This Easter, as you reflect upon the Good News of Jesus’ resurrection, pause for a moment and consider the areas of your life that have seemingly fallen asleep or even died. Then put even more hope in Him, the one who gave you life to begin with, who promised to never leave nor forsake you, and who has broken the curse of death once and for all time. The One who can raise the dead can most certainly resurrect your hope, your peace, your joy, your love.

God bless you and may you experience the love of God in a tangible, life-giving way today!

Love in Christ,
Pastor Joe
