For Our Benefit
(Adapted from the sermon, The Sacrifice of Thanksgiving: From Ritual to Relationship)
All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.
2 Corinthians 4:15 (NLT)
As we bring our devotional series on the sacrifice of thanksgiving to a close, let us remember that our gratitude not only benefits us personally, but it also has a greater impact. When we cultivate a heart of thanksgiving and share God’s grace with others, it leads to great thanksgiving and brings glory to God. Our sacrifices of thanksgiving have the power to spread God’s love, touch lives, and bring others into a deeper relationship with Him.
