Jesus the Master Storyteller – Day 5

Jesus the Master Storyteller – Day 5

Go and Tell!

(Adapted from the sermon, Jesus the Master Storyteller)

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”

John 3:16-17 (NLT)

The story of Jesus, the Master Storyteller, is not just for personal reflection—it’s meant to be shared with the world. John 3:16-17 beautifully summarizes the essence of the Gospel: God’s incredible love for the world and the salvation offered through His Son.

Sharing this story is vital, as it brings hope, eternal life, and reconciliation with God. As followers of Jesus, we are called to “go and tell” the world about this message of love and salvation.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

  1. How does God’s love, as described in John 3:16-17, impact your understanding of the Gospel?
  2. Reflect on your role in sharing the message of Jesus with others. In what ways can you be a messenger of God’s love?
  3. What can you do to fulfill the command to “go and tell” without judgment but with love and compassion?

PERSONAL APPLICATION: Examine your commitment to sharing the message of Jesus with others and seek opportunities to do so.

LOVE IN ACTION: Take intentional steps to share the story of Jesus with those who may not have heard it, demonstrating God’s love and compassion.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we are humbled by Your love for the world, expressed through the gift of Your Son, Jesus. Help us to be messengers of this incredible story of hope and salvation. Grant us the wisdom and love to share it with others, without judgment but with compassion. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
