From Joash to Jesus – Day 5

From Joash to Jesus – Day 5

Welcoming God’s Presence

On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.”

Revelation 16:19

REFLECTION:

While Joash’s story serves as a reminder of human frailty and the need for restoration, we find hope and inspiration in the ultimate King of Kings, Jesus Christ. He courageously cleansed the temple in His time and continues to cleanse our hearts today. As the King of all kings and Lord of all lords, Jesus invites us to welcome His presence into our lives, making us temples where He reigns in purity and holiness.

PERSONAL REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

  1. How do you welcome His presence into your life?
  2. Is your heart a temple where He is the reigning King?
  3. In what ways can you reflect His purity and holiness in your daily actions and attitudes?

APPLICATION:

Commit to daily surrendering your heart to Jesus as your King. Seek His guidance and strength in living a life that reflects His purity and holiness. Make room for His presence in your thoughts, words, and actions.

LOVE IN ACTION:

Consider how you can welcome the presence of Jesus in the lives of those around you. Share the message of His love and be a source of encouragement and support to others on their faith journey. Your life can be a testimony of His transformative power.

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, You are the King of all kings and Lord of all lords. I invite You to reign in my heart and cleanse it. Help me reflect Your purity and holiness in all I do. May I be a vessel of Your love and presence to others. Amen.
